What we collect — and what we don't

Plain-English summary of how Hyve TruthFinder handles your data. Last updated 2026-06-14.

What we DON'T store

  • The text you submit. Claims, passages, documents, and questions are analyzed in the moment and not retained in our analytics.
  • URLs you paste, your IP address, or your browser/User-Agent.
  • ▸ Your full email is never placed in analytics — only used for your account login.

What we DO collect (aggregate, de-identified usage)

To run the service and improve it, we record privacy-safe signals about how the product is used — never the content you type:

  • ▸ Counts and timing: signups, analyses run, daily-limit hits, page activity, latency.
  • ▸ Structural signals: input length (not text), number of versions/sources, whether a URL was attached.
  • ▸ Engine outputs: the Truth Check band, a category code for why something was "Unverifiable", the sensitive-domain category (e.g. "medical") — never the words you used.
  • ▸ Subscription events for billing and conversion analytics.

Your controls

  • Account & billing are managed in your Account page; cancel anytime via the Stripe customer portal.
  • Deletion: request account deletion and your usage records are de-identified (we use on delete set null so nothing personal is left behind).
  • ▸ Lawful basis: legitimate interest in operating and improving the service; payments processed by Stripe.
